Bethanne

I first began to love the harp when my Mom would play Christmas music and I remember being drawn to the songs where harps were used. Then, when I was in elementary school, we were at church camp. The music began and immediately I remembered the sound captured my inner core! I looked on the stage to see a massive and beautiful harp carved with etchings in wood inlaid with what looked like gold. This was my first physical encounter with the harp. I was mesmerized by the sound and the enormity of it. I remember longing to be able to play like that. To this day, I’ve continued wanting to take lessons.
